Onslaught

I don't have a daughter, but I have many little princesses in my life that I love madly. This made me nauseous.

Wow! Is that ever sobering! I just posted it to our Mercy facebook page. Even though it's rather graphic for some near the end, I think it's right on. Thanks for sharing. In the work we do, we see everyday the impact of this pressure. It's heartbreaking.

It's so so true. It makes me sad and scares me to death. I have two little princesses to raise. I can only hope I can teach them to love themselves just as they are. Hopefully, they will see me as someone who loves herself and won't let society define me. With the Lord's help, I hope they will grow into beautiful, natural, smart, and self-assured young ladies. Very good and eye-opening video!!

This has always been disturbing to me... I saw Dancing W/ the Stars the other night and could not be more repulsed by Pamela Anderson. I pray every night that Lola never mutilates herself in such a manner.
